people say "It is most delightful to receive a gift", and yes, to an extent, it is very true.

well, take ME for instance, i LOVE to receive gifts. who doesnt? ask 10 gals and trust me, 9 out of 10 will be pleased to accept it.

moreover, i believe gals will be totally thrilled if they receive gifts that they've been desiring for a long time OR a 'surprise' gift.

a gift is a pleasant gesture. no matter how big or small the gift is, i guess its the thought that counts.

it means that he/she is thinking of u.
it means that he/she wants to pamper u.

awwwwww ~ aint that sweeeet?!?!?!

then again . . .

people also say "A gift of pleasure is diamond jewellery"

and, again . . . who doesnt like diamonds??? all gals do, otherwise there wouldnt be this term : "Diamonds Are a Girl's Best Friend"

i took this from our event 2 weeks ago at The Carat Club, Pavilion, Kuala Lumpur. its a cascading chandelier which is suspended over two floors above the posh showroom area. its absolutely gorgeous!!! the venue itself was amazing. i fell in love with so many things while i was given a tour around * blink * blink *

Carat Club
is known for its fine jewellery, crystal, giftware and also its luxury wine and dine area. the decor of C Club is stunning. well, obviously, cos everything in there prolly costs more than RM100k. there is this steel spiral staircase which i heard costs them RM500,000. can u imagine all the other crystal furnitures and stuff?? *wow* nways, i guess its all around tat pricing. even their 1 carat diamond ring costs RM60,000 and above depending on the carat. DOH!! i didnt get to snap any pix cos i didnt dare to :oP

proud to present the dessert that was served at the event. there were other delicious finger food but didnt manage to snap cos by the time it was on the table *waLLop* all GONE~ ^(OO)^

nways, event went well. altho i felt abit bored js sitting there, i had my free flow of Martell cocktails, tasty dessert n finger food, very impressed with the exquisite decor and of cos, totally bedazzled by the eye-catching + mouth-watering diamonds & crystals.

la la la~ now i shall bugger off to find a rich guy who will buy me one of those bling blings! *evil grin*

good night and sweet dreams to me, myself and I~

Yes yes, I must get someone I know to read this post. I think that it really doesn't matter if you're a guy or girl. A present is a form of appreciation and being human, everyone loves being appreciated. Even a murderer wants recognition for his "good" work. Pardon my morbidity. Wait, even dogs like gifts. You'd have to be made of solid stone if you don't like presents.
