im down with dry cough and slight nasal congestion. those bloody brawny virus attacked me!!! *arrggghghghghhghhhhh* damnit.damnit.damnit. i wish i could js slit my throat open and exterminate the virus. stooooopid Phlegm too, is killin me!!

nways, i've js attended a wedding dinner @ The Westin, KL last sunday. that would be the first wedding in the year 2007. they were my family's fwens relos whom we knew and invited us as well. how nice of them aye? i'd say, it was a very lovely wedding. the bride and groom were both looking their very best on that nite and as they walked down the aisle, the ballroom echoed with sounds of happiness and laughter. i could feel and hear the blissfulness soaring around the ballroom, leaving everyone with a smile of contentment on their faces.

isnt that delightful? *gosh* i felt so pleased for everyone. ahhhhh~ weddings... i guess thats the way its suppose to make ppl feel. the most remarkable moment during the dinner was the newly wedded couples speech of the nite. it was so sweet that my heart melted with it. i dun remember the exact phrases but the speech was absolutely captivating.

during the dinner, there was one aunty who started bringin over young lookin guys over to the table i was at. from the moment she stepped up and walking over to the dudes and bringing them over, I KNEW wat was gonna happen. oh boy~

A: hiiieeee~ lemme introduce this boy to u. he is XXX and hes from XXX. she is beewei. good gal. now, u guys can start keeping in touch. get her number. be fwens.

X: *haha* hi~ (shakes my hand)

B: (politely shakes back and WAT!!! OMG OMG!! this is so embarassing!!!) errr....*smiles* hi~

A: oh its ok. i have her number. i can give u later!!

B: (i think she had too much to drink, hope she doesnt give my number, this is soooo weird) *grins* oooookie~ nice meeting u.

X: *hehe* nice meeting u too.

can u believe it?? *gosh* those aunties and their matchmaking nature? >.< well, i guess they are js tryin to be nice and helpful. i find it amusing tho. i realise the older generations like doing this. they like to see their grandchildren getting hooked up and have lotsa lotsa kids *hehe* it satisfies them in a way cos they have lived thru out the years and they are able to see their grandchild get settled down with family and kids. i presume that would be their greatest accomplishment, no??

hmmm, matchmake? i wonder how issit like? isnt it peculiar when 2 total strangers meet and they have to start gettin to know each other there and then cos matchmaker wants them to? its weird to js sit down and start asking questions to a complete stranger about wats ur hobby, wat u like to eat, wat u like to do. i dunno. maybe its js me. i dun think i cant do that. i cant js meet one person and start asking them all those. its unusual, dun u think?

i'd like it to be natural. i'd like it to be normal, as how 2 person meet by acquaintances. then, as u know it, sparks light up between the 2 and they will embark on a journey thru ups and downs together. thats how a love story begins, rite? thats how every love should begin and memoirs of their lifetime journey will be taken down to memory lane for as long as they live.

the other day, my fwen asked me if Blood Diamond was nice? i haven seen it but my reply. . .

S: Blood Diamond is out. u think its nice? wat issit about actually?

B: its about diamonds and how ppl would shed blood js to get to the diamonds (direct meaning of the title) its like an adventure kinda thing *hahaha*

S: yea yea. about diamonds & blood huh? yea...(both of us ended up laffin at each other)

conclusion, i watched it last Tues and apparently, its not bad after all.
Blood Diamond, a story about a poor farmer, his family, a smuggler, a journalist and a group of businessmen going after a clear priceless pink diamond that will costs everyone's life. the movie is filled with adventure packed actions, brutal at times (had to cover my eyes) and also an unanticipated ending. hence, i reckon u guys to watch it.

after watching, i guess some ppl will have a different perception about the shiny little stone they wear around their finger. as for me? i dunno. cos i dun own one yet, however, i still think its a sparkly attractive pebble *HAHAHA* things ppl do for the sake of doing it. hmmm~ interesting.

i suppose ppl are selfish in a way. they do think more of themselves cos they dun wanna get hurt, therefore, they will find various ways to protect themselves from anything or anyone. its a typical way of how a human mind works. its plain self survival skills! who likes the feeling of gettin hurt? who likes to feel sad? who wans to feel pain and cry everyday? madness!! i bet everyone doesnt want to! DOH! obviouslY!!
