A girl yearning for affection.
What do i see?
A heart being torn apart.

I gazed into the mirror,
and i see this girl,

This girl, reaching out
with her arms wide open,
but nobody's there to catch her.

This girl, feeling desolated
with tears in her eyes,
but nobody's there for her.

This girl, walking away
with a broken heart,
but nobody's there to reassure her.

This is a glimpse of my eye,
This is what i recognise,
This is how i feel,
and , this girl, is ME.
