there were a few bottles on the shelf and i just felt like opening one of them after dinner. i've been eyeing on that particular bottle since CNY anyway. so, tonite is the NITE~

as i took it into the kitchen tryin to 'pop' it open, my mummy said:

M: ooOooh, ur opening the wine huh?

B: nooOOoo~ im opening the sparkling red grape juice.

M: i shd start drinking one cup a night. they told me its gooood for health purposes.

B: im opening the sparkling red grape juice la~

= bottle "POPS" opens =

M: (exclaims) U SCARED me!!!!!! i tot sumtin exploded!!!

B: *chuckles* (pours juice into 4 cups)

i walked over, sat down at the dining table . . . started drinking and enjoying my non-alcoholic juice. hmmmm~ yum yum~ very gassy * slurp*slurp * glug*glug *

M: oh no. i mite get drunk but wateva... i shd learn to drink (sips little by little)

B: its sparkling red grape juice! its not wine. there is no alcohol in it. u wun get drunk.

M: hmmm, this taste nice. its so sour. is this orite? i can sleep well tonite.

B: its NOT alcohol. its just normal grape juice. its NON ALCOHOLIC~

M: do u still want it? (drinks more of it)

B: nah. its orite. u have it. theres still more. i'll get it.

few seconds later, my mum finished the whole cup. so, i poured more for her.

M: omg! r u going to finish up the whole bottle now?

B: yeah y not? theres only a bit left. y save it? mite as well drink it all up. i threw the cork nway.

M: *sigh* OOOOOKIE then. i shall finish it and prepare.

B: wat?!?! prepare? for??? huh?!?! *lost* MUM, its SPARKLING GRAPE JUICE. U WUN GET DRUNK. elooooo? its N-O-N ALCOHOL~ NO ALCOHOL~

M: is there any alcohol in this? (picks up the bottle to check)

B: (i think i mite scream any minute now so i took a DEEEEEP breath) NooooOOOoooo~ its NON ALCOHOL! its JUICE. mum, its just GRAPE JUICE, u know?? >.< (oh dear god!!!!)

M: (bottoms up the whole damn cup) this is nice but very sour.

B: * deng * eyes rolling * (suddenly i was speechless for tt very second)

hoho~ that was my highlight for the day *LOL* :OP

luckily i didnt raise my voice, which, at one point, i reckon i was about to! oh well... MOTHERS! arggghhh~ nways~ im glad shes back from Taiwan. shes been away for nearly one week and its weird that i felt that she wasnt really far away from me.

hmmmm~ did i miss her? did i not? did i think about her? well, yeah.... been callin n sms-ing her the whole time she was there. prolly thats y i dun seem to feel the distance. shes just gone back to her hometown. its like goin back to Penang or Ipoh. its the same rite? Taiwan is just a 4 hours flight away from KL. la la la la~ ok wateva~
